Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for more than 1,100 general reference publications with coverage dating as far back as 1984. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Elite also includes 56 full text reference books and an Image Collection of 192,999 photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.

Computer Source
Computer Source provides researchers with the latest information and current trends in high technology. This database offers full text for nearly 300 publications and indexing and abstracts for nearly 450 publications.

Newspaper Source
Newspaper Source provides selected full text for nearly 30 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. The database also contains full text television & radio news transcripts, and selected full text for more than 200 regional (U.S.) newspapers. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.

More About the Statewide Illinois Library Catalog Statewide Illinois Library Catalog
The Statewide Illinois Library Catalog, known as SILC, is Illinois' first all inclusive statewide union catalog that integrates WorldCat and the Illinois Library Systems' local consortial OPACs, to provide both shelf status and interlibrary loan capabilities in a single searchable interface. SILC resides on the familiar FirstSearch platform as an additional WorldCat database that allows users to scope to regional groups within Illinois, as well as by type of library. From a single WorldCat record, users will be able to link to a local shared catalog record to see if and where an item is available for loan.

eBooks are full-text electronic versions of published books that library patrons can search, borrow, read, and return over the Internet. 

Library patrons can search across the entire eBook collection for authors, titles, or keywords, and they can search within books for keywords and phrases. 

Worth Public Library's eBook collection includes 621 copyrighted ebooks.. In addition, patrons have access to more than 3,400 public domain eBooks, featuring political texts and classics in literature and history. In addition, all netLibrary eBooks are embedded with the Houghton Mifflin 4th Edition of The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language enabling patrons to access a definition, visual or verbal pronunciation simply by highlighting a word.
